Bad Bunny has Adam Sandler listed as this endearing name in his phone

Bad Bunny is considering Adam Sandler family.

In an interview with Rolling stone published on Monday, January 13, the “Monaco” singer spoke briefly about collaborating with 58-year-old Sandler on the upcoming comedy Happy Gilmore 2.

When asked if he was with the BillyMadison star, Bad Bunny, 30, said: “Pshhh. That’s my uncle. Adam Sandler is my uncle.” He then showed the reporter his text message inbox, which listed Sandler as “Tío Sandler.”

“He’s Tio Sandler. He’s super nice,” he added. In September, it was announced that Bad Bunny would join the sequel to the 1996 comedy The Hollywood Reporter.

Bad Bunny, whose album Debí Tirar More photos came out on January 5, had filmed Caught stealing directed by Darren Aronofsky and Happy Gilmore 2 back to back.

The rapper said they were very different projects. “But I enjoyed them – I like that they were so different. And I can’t wait for them to come out and people to say, ‘Wow.’ I think with the upcoming projects I can concentrate more on filmmaking.”

Along with Sandler and Bad Bunny, Happy Gilmore 2The star-studded cast includes Travis Kelce, Ben Stiller, Julie Bowen, Margaret Qualley and Christopher McDonald.

Elsewhere in his conversation with Rolling stoneBad Bunny talked about acting. “I would,” he said. “I’m always going to make music, but I would spend some time making films and dedicating myself to acting.

“I think the way I’ve worked it out, when these two movies come out, people who see them will say, ‘Wow, this guy is really acting.’ Because they are two different films, two different parts, two different people.”

Bad Bunny, which also played in 2022 Bullet trainhad previously teased more acting roles along the way. “You could say I invested a little more of myself in acting,” he said Vanity fair in September 2023.

Happy Gilmore 2 will premiere on Netflix in 2025.
