NFL injury tracker, wild card weekend: ‘Business as usual’ for Jordan Love, Ravens’ Zay Flowers out, Cade Otton back for Bucs

While Christian Watson’s ACL injury will keep him out for the rest of the season, quarterback Jordan Love will be available for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Love left their Week 18 game against the Chicago Bears in the first half after taking a blow to his right elbow and did not return. The Packers had already clinched a playoff spot and Malik Willis finished the game at quarterback.

On Wednesday, Love told reporters that the numbness in his right hand was gone, but his right elbow still felt sore. After being limited early in the week, he was a full participant in practice on Thursday.

“Business as usual. He looks good,” offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said.

Two concerns for the Eagles this week were quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver AJ Brown. Hurts had suffered a concussion and Brown had been dealing with a knee injury in recent weeks.

Both practiced this week, and although Brown was limited on Wednesday and sat out Thursday, he is expected to play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Hurts was a full participant and has no injury designation.

Zay Flowers will not play in this weekend’s wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering a knee injury in Week 18.

“He’ll be back in action next week and we’ll continue with the guys we have,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Thursday. “We’re excited about the guys we have, which is everyone else.”

Flowers left Saturday’s game against the Cleveland Browns after a tough loss on a catch-and-run. The 24-year-old receiver immediately clutched his right knee and was in visible pain.

He was escorted to the medical tent with a pronounced limp and then went to the locker room.

On Monday, Harbaugh said the knee injury Flowers suffered was not season-ending and that the receiver was considered “day-to-day.”

After “moving in the right direction,” according to head coach Todd Bowles, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to have Cade Otton back for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders.

Otton has not played since December 15 due to a knee injury. On Thursday he was upgraded to a full participant in the training. The 25-year-old Oton had his best season in 2024, catching 59 balls for 600 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games.
