David understands her feelings and decides to let her go so she can be with the person she truly loves.

Furthermore, she goes to therapy, which causes a new problem for her. Her therapist, Dr. Joaquin Duval falls in love with her, which turns into a dangerous obsession. He eventually kidnaps her and takes her to a yacht. He confesses that he is Angela’s partner in crime and how he killed Adrian to protect his plans. Miguel soon sneaks onto the yacht to save the love of his life from a ruthless villain.

Miguel and Duval get into an argument, which ends in the latter being shot. It is none other than Detective Indira who shot him and arrested him earlier after learning about his secret recording of his meetings with Camila. Later, Camila and Miguel make their way to safety after sharing a passionate hug.
